Helpful Tips and Plastic-Free Produce

This idea actually came from someone I follow on Instagram who goes by the name “anitafromaustralia”, who was participating the “Plastic free produce campaign”. During grocery shopping at local super markets, if produce is found to have unnecessary plastic wrapping a card would be left which reads “We prefer plastic free produce” and that item would be left on the shelf. If the super market provided produce that wasn’t wrapped or packaged, another card was left as a sort of thank you for not using plastic. I asked her if I could do this here in Canada as well and she said of course.
